ADG Partners with the Boys and Girls Club to Host the World's Largest Swim Lesson

At Aquatic Development Group (ADG), our commitment to great work extends beyond creating successful water parks and aquatic venues; we are also dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. That is why we are thrilled to announce our participation in the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, an event organized by the World Waterpark Association to promote learning to swim and mitigate drownings. This year, we are proud to partner with the Boys and Girls Club to host this important industry event on June 20th.

Why We're Participating

Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death worldwide, particularly among children. By participating in the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of swim education and safety. Learning to swim is not just a fun activity; it is a skill that can save lives. At ADG, we are proud to be part of the conversation on how to create a safer aquatic environment for everyone.

What Is the World’s Largest Swim Lesson?

The World’s Largest Swim Lesson (WLSL) event is designed to build awareness and generate media attention about the importance of teaching children how to swim to help prevent drowning. Organized by the World Waterpark Association (WWA), this event emphasizes the importance of swim lessons as a key factor in drowning prevention, highlighting that swimming is a critical, lifelong skill.

Who are the Boys and Girls Club?

The Boys and Girls Club is a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe spaces and programs designed to enhance academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles. By partnering with the Boys and Girls Club for this event, we are joining forces with an organization that shares our commitment to youth development and safety.

Our Involvement as Sponsors and Volunteers

ADG is a proud sponsor of the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, providing resources and support to ensure the event’s success. As volunteers of the WLSL event at the Boys and Girls Club, we provide resources and merchandise to the participants.

“As proud members of the World Waterpark Association for several decades, and leaders in the aquatic design and construction space- we are proud to carry out this initiative in our community” said Bruce Quay, Chief Operating Officer of Aquatic Development Group, “Bringing about a platform with the Boys and Girls Club, where people can learn the fundamentals on how to swim in a safe and fun setting.”

Join us on June 20th to save lives, one swim lesson at a time!
