Holding its Grand Opening on June 17, WildWater Water Park showed off their new waterpark to an excited response from it’s public constituents. Designed and built by ADG, the new expansion includes a wave pool, slides, kids area, and more.
ADG is one of the companies specializing in this work for aquariums and zoos. Since the early 1990s, ADG has provided wave and water motion technologies for the enhancement of animal habitats.
Wave pools are, without question, capital-intense ventures with highly variable revenue models and returns. At some, like Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, the wave is the main attraction, with just minimal infrastructure around it.
Beyond the Ocean is a podcast made by Surf Park Central where they feature surf parks, wave generating technologies, and the future of surfing outside the ocean.
