ADG’s work on H2OBX, the new state -of-the-art $46 million waterpark coming to the Outer banks opening summer 2017, was featured in the February edition of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ (IAAPA) FunWorld Magazine. Discussing ADG’s role as lead designer of the project as well as the water rides that will be opening with the park these being: Twin Tides™ and Adventure Lagoon™ .

Twin Tides™ is ADG’s dual entry wave pool, provides guests with double the waves and double the fun. Flanked by beachfront on both ends, Twin Tides™ takes advantage of a unique design and wave system configuration that enables you to double the capacity of your attraction without expanding your footprint.

Adventure Lagoon™  is a skill based water ride that is a hit with guests of all ages. This ride fits in any space and instantly increases time on premises through a combination of exciting skill-based features and interactive play areas that appeal to the entire family. From high-risk thrills to low level excitement, distinct adventure sections like river crossings, rock walls and inflatable play areas, create ride features that appeal to every skill level.  Multiple access points for easy ride entry throughout the attraction means less time waiting and more time enjoying.
