Soaky Mountain Construction Update IN THE NEWS | AQUATIC DEVELOPMENT GROUP | April 1, 2020

We are happy to report that despite all of the challenges occurring in our world over the past few weeks, construction at Soaky Mountain Waterpark has been moving full steam ahead!

The new waterpark is now 70 percent complete thanks to the hard work of our construction teams. To date, more than 350,000 work hours have gone into transforming the mountain into an amazing tourism destination.

The Snake Den Tube Rides and Rocky Top Raceways are completed, and crews are now working on putting the finishing touches on the Rainbow Revenge and Blue Mountain Mayhem waterslides and Avalaunch Watercoaster. Next time you’re driving by the waterpark on Hwy 66 take a moment to look up and you should be able to see all of them!

How is this for a fun fact? Once completed, our pools and slides will hold more than 1.7 million gallons of water!

Stay tuned for a grand opening date!
