Quebec, Canada, December 2016- Village Vacances Valcartier Resort opened their new Bora Parc Indoor Waterpark to guests on December 4th, 2016.

This indoor waterpark, called “Bora Parc” designed by Aquatic Development Group (ADG), is the first of its kind in Quebec. This $65 million expansion complements the resort’s entertainment offerings with year-round accommodations and wide spread demographic appeal. The Bora Parc was introduced to the property in order to increase guest’s length of stay and provide additional market differential to stay ahead of the competition.

The Bora Parc at the Village Vacances Valcartier covers more than 102,000 square feet and carries a Polynesian theme throughout the waterpark. ADG designed the indoor waterpark and supplied several equipment systems such as the FlowRider® Double, a 4,000 sqft wave pool and an adventure wave river utilizing ADG’s WaveTek™ technology.

Additional attractions include:

  • 1,000 person park capacity.
  • 14 plus slides, of which 5 are 50 ft tall.
  • A family zone with its own pool and activities.
  • A restaurant terrace with private space for groups and events.
  • Private cabanas.

“Our expertise in waterpark and winter playground management has allowed us to improve our entertainment experience: our vacationers now have the chance to visit a waterpark in any season. This type of attraction has ever been seen before in Quebec!” stated Guy Drouin (President and General Manager of Village Vacances Valcartier).

With multiple attractions and warm indoor temperatures, the Bora Parc has high expectations for their first winter season. The gran opening generated rave reviews from guests and Village Vacances Valcartier management is expecting a large turn-out during the holiday season.
