ADG Completes Nashville Shores’ Largest Expansion to Date IN THE NEWS | AQUATIC DEVELOPMENT GROUP | April 25, 2010

Aquatic Development Group announces the completion of the Nashville Shores expansion project as the latest addition to its award-winning resume of water park design and construction projects.

Cohoes, New York April 25, 2010 – Aquatic Development Group, Inc., one of the premier designers and builders of commercial waterparks and attractions around the world is proud to announce the completion and opening in the Nashville Shores waterpark expansion. This expansion is the largest in the history of Nashville Shores and is designed to enhance Nashville Shore’s reputation as one of the United States’ premier water park facilities. With guidance from Nashville Shores ownership, Aquatic Development Group led the design effort for the expansion and constructed the water attractions and their related mechanical and filtration systems, including:

Breaker Bay Wave Pool

The expansive, new wave pool will encompass more than 25,000 square feet and hold more than 400,000 gallons of water. It will also feature the patented WaveTek® system capable of producing seven different wave patterns and creating waves over four feet in height.

Central Tennessee’s first Lazy River Float Ride – Castaway Creek

Guests will also be able to enjoy a relaxing ride on the new 1,000-foot long, lazy river. Designed with an impressive 17-foot width, the attraction will give families and friends plenty of room to float and relax together on the meandering river. Other planned highlights of the ride include geysers, waterfalls and spray features to help keep guests refreshed on hot summer days.

Filtration Plant

A new state of the art filtration plant, powered by Whitten multi-cell, pressure sand filters will manage the new attraction’s water sanitation needs. The system will be able to process and completely filter 706,000 gallons of water every two hours.

“We’re really excited to complete this project and see it open to the public,” said Kenneth Ellis, President and CEO of Aquatic Development Group, Inc. “Nashville Shores was already an extremely well regarded water park, and we’re confident that the attractions that Aquatic Development Group designed and built for them will cement their legacy as not only as one of the best water parks in Tennessee, but as one of the best water parks in the United States.” Aquatic Development Group has participated in more than 150 water park construction projects across the United States and the world.
