ADG and Paradise Springs at Gaylord Texan Resort (Gaylord) Win Award

Aquatics International, a subsidiary of Hanley Wood, announces ADG and Gaylord winners in their ‘Best of Aquatics’ contest.
Gaylord, a western-themed 10-acre resort located in Grapevine, TX, chose ADG as the water feature designer/builder for its outdoor pool and lazy river complex, Paradise Springs. ADG, known for enhancing a themed atmosphere with water features, created attractions that played to the already established western motif.
The Gaylord project features a 600-foot lazy river designed with massive sandstone rockscapes and waterfalls. Those interested in catching some rays can sun bathe on chaises that are located in the lazy river’s beach-like entry where guests can sit in a shallow cove off of the lazy river’s path or they can enjoy Gaylord’s sun lounger deck featuring chaise lounges, umbrellas and cabanas.
The 6,000 sq. ft. family lagoon contains two horse-shoe shaped hot pools with spa-like seating, a waterbasketball zone, a body slide and various waterfalls and sprays. In appealing to all ages, a shaded toddler pool area is located adjacent to the family lagoon.
Continuing with the western theme, additional attractions include a zip line that is ‘growing’ from a twisted desert tree and a water tower designed to look like a creaky old windmill.
ADG’s reputation and experience in partnering with waterpark operators to develop unique aquatic environments made Gaylord’s choice easy.
