The Ciccotti Recreation Center, a multi-purpose family recreation facility includes a state-of-the-art 15,050 square foot indoor aquatic center that was designed, supplied and constructed by ADG.
This multi-use, family friendly water space includes amenities and features to produce a facility that may be programmed for maximum member benefit. The aquatic center includes distinctly unique amenities targeted to different age groups and skill levels, providing a facility that is truly responsive to the aquatic recreation needs of the entire family.
The focal point of this facility is the water-play elements.
Water features, a play structure and indoor body slide sets the Ciccotti Center apart from the traditional indoor recreation center pool. While the play structure and features may be the focal point, the flexibility of this facility is in the pools themselves. The facility is comprised of distinctly different bodies of water, each designed to respond the needs of a unique segment of pool users. The lap pool alone, which appears to be a traditional rectangular pool is actually a multipurpose pool, which, may be used for a wide variety of programming activities.
This varied programmability is made possible through the incorporation of the MaxaWave wave generation system and an AFW movable floor, both exclusive products of ADG. The MaxaWave adds real waves to a new or existing rectangular pool. In addition to rough water learn to swim training, the MaxaWave enhances recreational swimming programs such as scuba, triathlon, and kayaking not to mention parties and events all within a safe, controlled environment.
The AFW movable floor is a hydraulically controlled, composite deck system that is capable of vertical travel from fully lowered depth to zero depth, deck level. With the functionality of a moveable floor, your one pool now fulfills the needs and programming of many. From competitive swim, to water aerobics and physical therapy, to tots learn to swim programs all the way up to deck level for handicapped access
in additional to multi-purpose natatorium programming.
In addition to the movable floor and wave system, the lap pool and the multi-use activity pool are fitted with Whitten stainless steel perimeter recirculation systems, which feature our unique tile face option, and all of the water in this facility is filtered through water saving,
Whitten Bi-flow high rate sand filters, As with the MaxaWave® and AFW® Floor, Whitten products are also exclusive Aquatic Development Group product systems.
With the needs of lap swimmers, learn to swim programs, and other activities satisfied by the lap pool, the Activity Pool with integral Lazy River and zero entry
beach area is the place for family fun. Adjacent wet deck provides water fun for even the youngest members of any family.
To complete the experience, a hot water hydrotherapy pool is available for those that just want to relax.
