The Challenge
Village Vacances Valcartier Resort, Mountain Adventure Park and Outdoor Waterpark wanted to add another feature to their popular year round resort that would increase length of stay and provide additional market differential to stay ahead of the competition. Village Vacances called upon ADG to design the very first indoor waterpark in Quebec on their property.
The Solution
ADG did an entire design of the new 102,000 sqft indoor waterpark called “Bora Parc” at the Valcartier, as well as supplied several equipment systems such as the FlowRider® Double, a 4,000 sqft Wave Pool and an Adventure Wave River using ADG’s WaveTek™ wave generation technology. Along with these featured attractions, the Bora Parc also offers; 1,000 person park capacity, over 14 plus slides, a family zone with its own pool and activities and a restaurant terrace with private space for groups/events.
The Result
With lots of offerings and warm temperatures, Village Vacances Valcartier’s Bora Parc had success for their first winter season. The grand opening in fall of 2016 generated rave reviews from guests and Bora Parc’s management expects a large turnout during the holiday season.
