The Challenge
Located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, Roseland Waterpark’s owner sought to build an entertainment rich waterpark for families in a beautiful garden setting. ADG was engaged to provide complete turnkey design, engineering, and construction, create diverse family oriented water attractions with a Victorian theme and re-design and construct new features for the existing waterpark.
The Solution
ADG used inventive landscaping with classic fountains and Victorian charm to create a whimsical entrance with ticketing, retail, restrooms, changing facilities, lockers and tube rental kiosks – all centrally located. Careful design allowed owners to invest the maximum amount of dollars into the guest experience while increasing operational efficiencies and minimizing the costs of site work.
Highlights of the park include a 600ft lazy river with Victorian-esq fountains, a 27,000 sqft wave pool, and “The Splash Factory,” a giant jungle gym. The blend of natural and formal gardens creates a setting that is both relaxing for adults and thrilling for kids.
The Result
Roseland Waterpark is the largest waterpark of its kind in the Finger Lakes Region with 56-acres of aquatic adventure and unique attractions for the entire family. Community response and attendance continues to remain strong.
