The Challenge
Nashville Shores wanted to upgrade their existing features to enhance the overall guest experience. ADG was commissioned as a partner in the largest expansion project in the park’s history to design and build exciting new water attractions while seamlessly integrating new areas with existing attractions and upgrading related mechanical and filtration systems.
The Solution
ADG led the design effort for the lakeside-themed expansion, constructing both the water attractions and their mechanical and filtration systems. New attractions included a 25,000 sqft wave pool and a 1,000ft lazy river surrounded by a new 30,000 sqft deck. A new state-of-the-art filtration plant maintains water sanitation needs by filtering 706,000 gallons of water every two hours.
The Result
The combination of creative water settings and top-of-the-line mechanical and filtration systems have enhanced Nashville Shores’ reputation as one of the premier waterparks in the U.S. The park opened to enthusiastic crowds and remains a strong draw for visitors of all ages.
