The Challenge
Mountain Creek & Crystal Springs Resort, an upscale year round ski resort acquired the former Action Park outdoor waterpark, which was suffering from years of wear and tear to its facilities and attractions. Mountain creek brought in the experts at ADG to conduct a complete renovation, re-design and construct new features to meet Mountain Creek’s standard and renovate attractions to ensure accordance with safety codes.
The Solution
ADG engineered a major physical transformation in the process of rebuilding the Mountain Creek Waterpark. Designed with an Adirondack theme, the new park has emerged as a bright, family-friendly oasis for visitors of all ages.
Renovation started with the 27,000 sf wave pool, retrofitted with ADG’s Wave Generation system to generate multi-patterned, real-feel ocean waves. Design features and park layout capitalize on the terrific views of the valley, offering enticing vistas for F&B and cabana rental locations to capture additional revenue generating opportunities.
The Result
The transformation of the Mountain Creek Waterpark has rejuvenated the facility into a state-of-the-art family waterpark that has seen a tremendous growth in attendance, winning numerous industry safety and customer satisfaction awards since the renovation was complete.
